Who should use this site?

The short answer is that this site was created to assist all capoeira instructors and those interested in becoming capoeira instructors some day.

We also have some core values that we hope all members will share. We believe the world is better with more capoeira. We believe that if we have something good to share that makes the world a better place, we have a moral obligation to share it effectively with others. We also believe that if we work together and share knowledge we'll all be better off in the long run. If you share these ideals, this is the place for you!

We hope to be a support system for everything you need to reach your goals as a capoeira teacher. This site is intended to help you grow your programs and impact more people. If there is a feature you'd like us to add or recommendation you have to improve the site please let us know.

What does this site do?

This site already does a lot, and we're growing and building more tools for it daily.

When you first create an account you'll have the opportunity to interact with other capoeira teachers in the forums. Learn from others and contribute what you know. Create your own personal profile. List your school and group in our database. We've filled the site with helpful downloads, videos, and even business courses that are relevant to capoeira schools of any size or style. We also host live teleconference events that all members are invited to join.

How much does this cost?

Most of it is free. Creating an account is free, and no payment info is ever required to join. We do ask that you confirm an email address once you've created your account. This is not a free trial period or temporary account. Once you've registered your FREE account is available to you 24/7.

We do charge a couple dollars per month for access to some of our premium business courses. Any cost associated with this is negligible compared to the growth you'll see in your business. Becoming a premium member is by far the best way to get the most value out of this site. Once you've created a FREE basic account you can upgrade to a premium membership at any time.

Who are you guys?

We're capoeiristas and successful studio owners ourselves. We use our own studios as laboratories to test out marketing and management ideas to prove what really works in our economy today.

Also, Capoeira Teacher is owned by Compete Services Inc. a tuition billing and dance studio software company. This gives us some pretty specific insight into what's actually happening in capoeira (and other dance and martial art) studios of all shapes and sizes. Much of the research presented on this site is based off of data provided by the Compete Services software. We're literally your connection to what everyong is doing that actually works!
